This year marks the 50th anniversary of our company’s opening. An important milestone achieved thanks to the support of our workers and the trust of the customers who have chosen us.
A 50-year history
The history of the Basso family is closely related to the evolution and tourist development of the touristic resorts of Bibione and Lignano. A story that is characterized by an “entrepreneurial genetic” imprint, which has led it to be the present corporation.
In fact, it is no coincidence that the Europa Tourist Group LdT. proprieties developed in parallel with its history, its constant expansion, its empowerment on the markets, also through the buyout of other tourist companies operating in Bibione and Lignano Sabbiadoro. Every buyout has merged into Europa Tourist Group without losing its identity, becoming an essential contribution for the development of the Group.
In 1972 the brothers Franco and Vanni Basso established the first individual company called Agenzia Europa, with a first catalogue of 40 apartments and starting the construction of the first tourist residences in Bibione. Today, after 50 years, Europa Tourist Group manages 17.000 sleeping accommodations in hotels and apartments, achieving alone about 20% of the total presences of Bibione, in addition to the presences of Lignano.
Hotels, Aparthotels, Resorts, Villages, prestigious tourist residences and innovative projects are the concrete result of an entrepreneurial attitude that meets the expectations of its customers and investors.

Today we have reached the third generation and we can proudly say that we represent a reference point in the real estate and tourism sector in Italy with customers from all over the world.
