The road traffic situation for those who want to reach the seaside in Bibione and Lignano:
Generally, during the weekend from 6 am till 4 pm, mind some slowdowns on the A4 highway, between San Stino di Livenza and the A4/A23 crossroads and possible queues at Trieste Lisert’s exit. You may also find bits of queue between the A4/A23 crossroads and San Giorgio di Nogaro, direction Venice.
The highways A4 (Venezia-Trieste section) and A23 (Palmanova – Treviso section) are generally very busy during the summer season, so do expect slowdowns and queues, especially at the intersections between A4, A23, A57 and A28.
